Submit a video or audio file assessment to MyHELMS

1. Go to your assignment submission area.
2. Select Add submission.
3. In the middle of the screen, select Select Files for Submission.
4. Browse to the folder on your desktop or device where your video or audio file is, select the file and select Open.

The Add Media Options screen appears.

5. If you want to use the file name as the file title, leave the Use filename for title checkbox selected. Otherwise, clear the checkbox and add a title in the Title field.
6. Under Options, you do not need to change the default option in the drop-down list or clear the Private checkbox.
7. Select Confirm.

Note:

• On the next screen, if you want to edit the details you just confirmed, you can select the Edit icon .

• If you do not want to continue uploading the file, you can select the Delete icon .

8. To continue uploading the file, select Start Upload.

While the file is being uploaded, the Uploading File progress bar moves from left to right.

9. When the file has uploaded, you will see the following screen informing you that the file uploaded. Select Save changes.

If you see a grey 'Coming Soon' thumbnail in the Video/Audio Submission area, the system is converting the uploaded file to a format the system can use. You do not need to do anything here.


At this point, you can edit your submission, remove it or submit it.

10. Select Submit assignment.

Important: After you submit the assignment, you cannot make any more changes to it.
