Tags

Tags are keywords that you add to blocks, pages and collections to make it easier to find related items later. It is good practice to use tags for tasks, projects and placement information when you first set up pages. The tags will be very useful for searching later.

Add a tag

When you create a block, page or collection, a Tags box appears within an overall, larger Edit page.

Tags will help you search for your page later.

  1. To add a tag, in the Tags section, enter a word into the Search box and select Enter. If you do not select Enter, the tag will not save. You can add more than one tag.
  2. If the new tag already exists in your portfolio, when you start entering the tag name, a drop-down menu will list the matching tags. The number after the tag indicates how many times the tag has been used. Select Save.

Delete a tag from a page

  1. Select the Main menu icon .
  2. Select Create.
  3. Select Pages and collections.
  4. Select the page title from which you want to delete a tag.
  5. On the right of the page, select the Edit icon .
  6. To view the tags, select the Settings icon .
  7. In the Tags section, select the x beside the tag you want to delete.

The tag disappears from the section.

  1. Select Save.

View the tag cloud

If you added tags to your content, on the Pages and collections page, a tag cloud appears in the sidebar. The most frequently used tag has the largest font size, and lesser-used tags are in smaller fonts.

The My tags page appears.
You can sort tags alphabetically or by frequency.

Further down the My tags page, you can see your tags and the blocks, pages and collections associated with them.

You can also see your tags and change their display by selecting the Main menu icon  > Tags.
