Manage conversation notifications (staff only)

Desktop/laptop

To adjust the notifications you are getting from a conversation, do the following:

1.To open the Cohort application on your desktop computer or laptop, in your Internet browser, go to https://hiberniacollege.moxtra.com.

2. Log in with your Hibernia College Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials, if required.

3. Open a conversation.

4. In the top-right corner of the conversation, select the Settings icon .

5. Under Send Notification For, you will find the different notification options that you can set for your conversations. Select how you want to be notified:

    • Select All Activities to receive notifications for any new activity in conversations. We recommend you keep this option selected.

    • Select Mentions, assigned To-Dos to receive notifications only for Mentions and when a To-Do is assigned to you. Mentions are an easy way to draw someone's attention to a high-priority conversation or message. To mention someone in a conversation, you need to type @ followed by their name in the message. Start by typing the @ character — a popup menu will appear with a list of all members in the conversation that you can choose from.

    • Select Nothing (Muted) if you do not want to be notified of any new activity in conversations.

                   

 

Mobile

1. Open the Cohort app  on your mobile device.

2. Open a conversation.

3. In the top-right corner, select the Settings icon .

4. Select Notifications.

   

5. From the different options shown, select how you would like to be notified for conversations.
