Students are required to attend and actively participate in all face-to-face classes. Face-to-face classes are a vital part of the programme. We appreciate that there may be extenuating circumstances, such as illness or bereavement, where an absence is unavoidable. In such cases, you should contact the Academic Administrator (studentadmin@hiberniacollege.net) before the face-to-face class or at the earliest opportunity. A medical certificate, death notice or other evidence might be required. It is your responsibility to make arrangements to catch up on work missed. 

If a student’s pattern of attendance or participation is not of an acceptable standard, it can affect access to professional practice placement, examination entry or other concessions.
